But in reality, it rarely plays out that way.
The best results typically come from creating competition. Taking your property to the open market — and exposing it to all potential buyers — is where your premium lives. It’s not just about finding a buyer, but the right buyer who’s willing to compete for your home.
Unless you’re a very private individual or someone with a public profile who needs discretion, I’d always recommend going to market. It gives you the strongest chance of securing the best possible result.
